Estate Sale in the Country
Hey All!
I am working on the farmhouse out in the country trying to get it ready for you! We want to have the sale this weekend however several things come into play.
1. Weather – All the parking for this sale is in the field in the front yard. If it rains any more this week parking will be risky. The forecast is calling for more rain. I have to wait and see.
2. Power – This house has no electricity. The owner has run some extension cords across a yard to provide enough for me to work. If it is cloudy it is kindof hard to see all the grand stuff. We need sunshine! We will be trying to get more cords going throughout the house to rig a light for each room to help. Plus without power there is no AC. The very humid conditions make it hard to keep price tags “stuck”.
I guess the “several” things is really just one…the weather! I will keep you posted for sure.
This is the house I told you about early in the summer. It has lots of old farm stuff and everything in between. The house has been used as storage for every member in the family both old and young so items are quite varied. Please stay tuned for updates. If we can’t have the sale this weekend, Oct. 10 it will be next Sat. Oct. 17.

Next Estae Sale August 8, 2009
This is the sale you have been waiting for! Every day as I work and discover new items in this house I get more excited for all of you!
The homeowner has moved out of town and has drastically downsized leaving LOTS of fun stuff for all or you! She has enjoyed the property here and has kept it well. At one time she raised pot belly pigs, goats and rescued orphaned and injured racoons. She also had several dogs. So many of her items and deco reflect her love for animals.
Again, the sale is located on Kings Drive off hwy 71. The house is located on 6 beautiful acres. There are lots of concrete, resin (and similar) feeders, bird baths, and statuary on the grounds that I will have gathered to the spacious outdoor deck. There are lots of very large pots, yard tools, outdoor holiday decor and more for those of you who enjoy that kind of thing.
Inside today, I discovered lots of bedding sets and decorative pillows, comforters, sheet sets, pillows galore! Some of which were still in packages. This homeowner had excellent taste and you will want to look at all these treasures!
There are hundreds of collectibles featuring racoons, pigs, dogs, birds a , and flowers. Most of the collectibles are signed and numbered. She also has lots of beautiful artwork again, many are signed and numbered.
Her kitchen features reds and greens and stainless or chrome. She has lots of barware and glassware as well as great cookbooks and table linens.
As far as furniture goes there are small desks, a computer armoire, a corner oak tv cabinet, huge round table with 8 chairs, like new sofa and love seat, glass top occaisional tables, end tables, microfiber sofa, sofa tables, truncks, chairs and lots more. There are also very nice lamps.
There are lots of videos, CD’s and over 100 DVD’s!
I know I left stuff out so you just have to come and check this sale out!
I’ll give the address on Wednesday of next week.

Another Ebenezer Sale
Hey Everyone!
Please don’t miss the first Ebenezer Sale of 2009! It is a good one with lots to offer everyone. I’m happy for cool weather and if it rains just come on anyway because the sale is all inside and you can shop out of the weather!
The location of the sale is 314-A Windermere. It is one of the condo/patio homes located on a short little dead end street directly across from the sign for Kingsley Place. I did a sale on this little street about 3 years ago. Anyway, you will need to park carefully on Windermere or in the Kingsley Place parking lot as NO PARKING will be allowed on the little alley/ street where the home entry is. Entry will be through the garage.
I will be having a preview from 6:00-7:00 PM only on Friday night. As usual, no sales on Friday.
This gentleman’s home has great furniture, art, kitchen, appliances, clothing, bedding, holiday, golf, gadgets and gardening. There are a few tools (not many) and no jewelry to speak of as his wife passed away several years ago.
This is a good sale to start the year and I hope to see all of you there! Remember, shopping estate sales is a great way to recycle and make the best use of our scarce dollars these days. Encourage your friends to come shop and help me find loving homes for all these terrific items!
